A big-screen viewing experience is available virtually anywhere with eShades, a personal display device worn as sunglasses that plugs into laptop computers and provides the visual equivalent of a 19" desktop monitor at 2.5 feet. Users can view web pages, e-mail, attachments, maps and other content-rich documents exactly as they would appear on a desktop PC. The device consumes less than 1/2 the power of a typical laptop display. The large, colorful display features the company's OptiScape technology. Users observe complete viewing privacy while maintaining the viewer's connection to the outside world. Power is supplied via a battery pack.
