A line of systems, including an array of manual and automated products, has been developed for the production programming of flash memory. The 3980xpi Programming System is effective with low-volume manufacturing. It includes a new high-speed parallel PC interface designed to meet the longer algorithm download and programming times for high-density devices, such as flash memory. The FlashTOP for Multisyte is touted as a unique modular socket adapter for the Multisyte that increases throughput for Flash memory integrated circuits by placing four sockets onto one adapter. Rounding out the display is the ProMaster 2500, the first fully integrated device handling, marking and programming system to work with low- to mid-volume, high device mix production.
