An extensive line of cool white cold cathode fluorescent (CCFL) lamps is targeted at the LCD repair market. When LCDs stop working, the entire display module is often replaced, at considerable cost. Most of the time, the company says, the problem is caused by a burned out CCFL used to backlight the LCD. The lamps are available in diameters from 2 mm to 6 mm and in lengths from 25 mm to 360 mm, complete with a high-voltage wire harness and mating connector. The lamps or lamp/harness assemblies are compatible with most manufacturer's LCDs. Pricing starts at $12. JKL COMPONENTS, Pacoima, CA. (818) 896-2376.
