Providing both rotary and digital regulation in a compact footprint, the SW44109 Hall-effect potentiometer switch integrates one or two sealed Hall-effect ICs with a 295¡ linear (S) taper potentiometer. The combo enables users to specify a value so that at the push of a button the circuit or channel automatically opens at a preset level. The component uses translucent knobs that are illuminated when used with an edge-lit panel. It weighs less than 1 oz. and requires just 2" of space behind the display panel. Requiring a 3.8V minimum supply and a maximum current of 5 mA, maximum output leakage current is 5 µA and potentiometer resistance is 100 k½ +5%. Price is $78.50 each/100 pieces with a delivery time of 12 weeks ARO. ELECTRO-MECH COMPONENTS, INC., South El Monte, CA. (888) 442-7180.
