In the CMU200 Universal Radio Communication Tester, wireless designers will find a benchtop instrument that can be configured for 2G standards now and 3G protocols such as CDMA 2000 and Bluetooth in the future. The unit offers a frequency range of 10 MHz to 2.7 GHz, which encompasses the major defined wireless standards. In its base configuration, the instrument is configured for GSM standards with provision for retrofitting of IS-95, IS-136, AMPS, Bluetooth, UMTS and W-CDMA test functionality. It uses a built-in color TFT display with a windowed user interface to present control settings and test results.
