Bandwidth of up to 500 MHz, four-channel functionality and a 5-Gs/s sampling rate are features of the TDS3000 family of digital phosphor oscilloscopes. The scopes display, store and analyze waveforms in real time, using three dimensions of signal information: amplitude, time, and the distribution of amplitude over time. The result is an intensity-graded display and the responsiveness of an analog scope combined with the storage and measurement capabilities of a digital storage oscilloscope. The unit's color display gives users the flexibility they need to perform design work in less time. The scope's advanced logic and pulse triggering, as well as its FFT analysis capabilities, can simplify the verification phase of design.
