Available in white and ultra-violet (UV) models, this new line of cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFLs) is for backlighting panels and applications that require a long, narrow light source. The lamps promise uniform linear illumination and come in sizes of less than 3 mm in diameter and 30 to 200 mm in length. The white lamps provide illumination levels up to 26,000 cd/m2 while drawing 5 mA. The UV lamps have a spectral distribution range of from 300 to 400 nm with a peak wavelength of 350 nm, or 200 to 300 nm with a peak wavelength of 254 nm.
