Two new 17" LCD rear-mount touch monitors have been designed with different viewing angles. The 1749L features a 170° vertical by 170° horizontal wide viewing angle panel, while the 1746L has a viewing angle of 140° by 140°. Both touch monitors incorporate the company’s clear glass IntelliTouch surface wave touch technology for optical quality. And both monitors have identical form factors, which differ only in their panel specifications. An injection-molded minibezel with a watertight seal makes them suitable for indoor or outdoor kiosks, ticketing machines, medical equipment, industrial automation and gaming and amusement applications. Both models have a 500:1 contrast ratio and 250 cd/m2 brightness. The IntelliTouch surface wave touch screen reduces light transmission slightly to 230 cd/m2.
