The V500 DFT-focused engineering test system includes new features and options for a wider range of applications. It includes optional support for delay (ac) scan to 30 MHz; IDDQ test methodologies; enhanced built-in self-test (BIST) control; and seamless integration with design-for-test (DFT) tools from Cadence, SynTest, and several other DFT tool vendors. Also, the base system now costs an industry low of under $173 per pin. It already includes DFT-intelligent software for processing and display of dc scan and BIST data, DFT-optimized hardware with 50-MHz data rates, and 32 million vectors behind each pin. The V500's base price is still $60,000, and the system is shipping now.
