A self-contained thin amplifier (25 mm x 23 mm x 5 mm) is included with the HPK Series photoelectric control. The control’s specialized, symmetrical design enables it to be surface-mounted in four directions. The unit is well suited for electronic applications requiring a high-speed, low-cost, subminiature photoelectric control in a flat package. The series is available as a thru-scan pair (emitter/receiver) with a typical response time of 1 ms maximum. Matching the optical axis and the mechanical axis eliminates the need for optical axis adjustment. Modes of operation include dark operate and light operate. Units are sealed to IP 66 specifications and offer an operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C. Typical uses include component detection, mail sorting and small parts handling.
