A new enclosure has been designed to house industrial electronics such as test and measurement devices, telecom equipment and machine controllers, as well as medical devices. The Meditec enclosure sports a modern appearance with L-shape moldings joined together at mitered corners. Construction is rigid due to strengthening ribs on the inside of the ABS top and base moldings. Standard color is off-white, with other colors available on demand. The case comes in four plan sizes from 6.30" x 7.87" to 11.42" x 10.24", with a standard height of 2.95". Height can be increased in increments of 1.97" by fitting one or more infill panels on either side of the case. Optional sloping front panels are designed for ergonomic operation of controls and easier viewing of the displays. An additional infill panel can be fitted under the sloping panel for mounting connectors for probes or data cables. Other accessories include ABS front panels, stacking feet and wall mounting brackets. The company offers a full customizing service on these cases with procedures such as CNC milling, drilling, silk-screen printing and RFI/EMI shielding, providing a fully finished housing ready for fitting the components. Pricing starts at $21. OKW ENCLOSURES INC., Bridgeville, PA. (800) 965-9872.
