Designed for use in high-end, progressive-scan TV designs, the Z90376 16-bit, on-screen display microcontroller allows manufacturers to achieve a bitmap graphics-like solution at the price of a character-based on-screen display. Control features include the ability to incorporate an owner's manual and installation guide to ease end-user setup. Other features include both I2C bus and pulse-width modulator outputs, on-screen display and character effects, character sizing, hot buttons, and animation. Pricing is $7 each/100,000.
