Designed to precisely extract individual optical channels from a DWDM signal and feed them to a data analyzer, the MN9320A optical channel drop unit also prevents potentially damaging signals from being sent to the analyzer. The instrument can scan and drop channels in the C band window at data rates up to 10 Gb/s. All measurements are made via drop-down menus displayed on a high-resolution screen in the set-up menu. Users can define the units of measurement, activate or deactivate the output-protection mode, and select the channel spacing and grid to be used. Power limiting is provided in the output protection mode. For more details, contact ANRITSU CO., Richardson, TX. (800) 297-4878.
