A temperature-controlled blue laser diode module, PPM(400-5) emits 400-nm light from a 5-mW laser diode. The integrated thermoelectric cooler keeps the laser diode at 20°C to prolong life. The diode can operate in automatic power control mode or constant current mode. Applications include fluorescence, spectroscopy, medical, display, high-resolution printing, interferometry, and microscopy. The spectral width is 1 nm or less. The package is 38 x 144 mm, and required power is 12 vdc at 1.5A maximum. Beam centering is standard on all models.
