Promoted as being economical, easy to use, and versatile the TGR synthesized RF generators handle a wide range of test, service, and development applications. The TGR2050 covers frequencies from 150 kHz to 2 GHz in 10-Hz steps and includes AM, FM, and phase modulation capabilities while the TGR1040 covers 10 MHz to 1 GHz in 1-kHz steps and incorporates FM modulation only (internal and external). Both instruments can operate using numeric or rotary controls with nine memory settings for user set-ups. Remote operation is via a standard GPIB or serial interface. Shared features include a four-line, backlit LCD that displays all major signal parameters simultaneously and an output from 0.1 mV to 500 mV into 50 Ohms with a 0.01 mV resolution. Options include a rack-mount kit. Prices for the TGR1040 and TGR2050 are $2,498 and $4,558, respectively. SAELIG CO., Pittsford, NY. (888) 772-3544.
