Introduced as an addition to its FactoryView product line the FACTORYpoint Pro is a standard 486DX PC designed for demanding manufacturing bar code applications. It provides a NEMA 4 (IP66) rated, drip-proof, dust-proof solution for dusty, dirty, or wet environments. FACTORYpoint Pro is a fully compliant PC with large keypad spacing designed to be usable with gloves. Two backlit LCD displays are available, either a 2-line x 40-character display with 0.5'' characters or a 4 line X 40-character display. Features include a10Base-T Ethernet adapter, Type II and III PCMCIA slots a PC/104 slot and 1 Mb of RAM expandable to a maximum of 65 Mb. In addition to 2 standard serial ports, it has bar code, laser scanner, and slot reader ports.
