Optimized for compact systems, the company expands its portfolio of TFT LCD modules for mobile applications with three 2.7" (6.8 cm-diagonal) QVGA amorphous silicon color LCD modules. The NL2432HC17-07A module offers a luminance of 550 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 400:1, making it suitable for handheld applications. It exhibits a slim profile of 2.6-mm thick, reportedly breaking the 3-mm barrier. Integrated features include a timing controller and a dc/dc converter. The transflective QVGA NL2432HC17-04A module employs the company's super-reflective natural light technology and exhibits a reflectivity of 35%, contrast ratio of 150:1, and a luminance of 140 cd/m2. With a QVGA resolution, the transmissive NL2432HC17-05B module specifies a luminance of 350 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 400:1. Samples of all three modules are available now.
