The SolarLCD range of standard and custom, RoHS-compliant LCDs employ low-cost solar panels for operating power, custom microcontrollers, and low-voltage liquid-crystal fluids to create highly customizable display systems. The LCD modules offer programmable, customizable message sequencing in a zero-power, long- life, and environmentally-friendly technology. Up to four custom icons in positive or negative mode are possible with thickness options from 3 mm to less than 1 mm. The SolarLCD works indoors and outdoors and specifies a lifespan of 50,000 hours.
