The easy-to-install VLT MICRO adjustable frequency drive is intended for OEMs and panel builders needing small controllers for 1/2 to 2 HP at 230 vac motors. Programmable dc braking makes it easier to adapt these IP20-enclosed units to various applications. A digital keypad/display module comes mounted on the drive’s panel to simplify operation, with "display" showing the status of the drive and "control" providing the programming interface. Built-in software eliminates the need for additional hardware. Other features are dc performance from low cost, low maintenance ac motors, programmable digital inputs and outputs, low noise operation, overload current of 150% for 1 minute, automatic voltage regulation, S-curve or linear ramp profiles, momentary power failure restart, parameter lock/reset, panel or optional DIN rail mounting, and more.
