Combining standard 25-mm Edison bases and a light optimizing design, the R20 LED reflector lamps are said to produce vivid light. Serving as direct incandescent replacement bulbs, the new lamps come in five light emitting angles—15°, 25°, 30°, 33° and 40°—and in voltage ratings from 12V to 240V AC or DC. Depending on the model, the lamps pack between 50 and 60 LEDs, draw 1.7W to 2.5W, and come in green, white, blue, yellow, red and amber. Infrared lamps are designed in wavelengths of 850, 880 and 940 nm. Claiming an 11-year operating life, R20 LED lamps are useful for architects, retail store display creators, entertainment designers and other lighting professionals to integrate ornamental illumination into maintenance-intensive applications. The LED cluster lamps continue to provide light if one or more emitters fail and can perform in systems subjected to voltage dips or surges. And they can be used as individual pixels in a large dot matrix screen, full color screens, moving signs and displays. Pricing ranges from $94.50 to $145. LEDTRONICS INC., Torrance, CA.
