Digi-Key Adds Three Suppliers

This week, distributor Digi-Key signed agreements with three new suppliers: Kingbright, Magnasphere, and SkyeTek. Taiwan-based Kingbright manufactures LED lamps, displays, SMD lamps and other LED-related products. Privately-held Magnasphere Corp. provides magnetic sensor technology to the security and industrial markets. Its technology has established new industry standards for high security switch performance and ferrous proximity sensing, providing an alternative to reed switch and other magnetic and inductive sensor technologies. Colorado-based SkyeTek is a provider of embedded RFID reader technology. Digi-Key will stock SkyeTek's full line of UHF and HF RFID reader modules and development kits. It will provide all the hardware and software engineers need to start integrating RFID into their design projects.
