    Designed primarily to drive vacuum-fluorescent displays, the A6800 series serial-input, latched source drivers have a slew-rate limiting feature that minimizes electrical noise and harmonic generation. With CMOS shift registers and latches that can be directly interfaced to a µP, the ICs can achieve data rates of 33 MHz with 3.3V or 5V logic supplies. For inter-digit blanking, all output drivers can be disabled and the sink drivers turned on with the BLANKING input. Devices come in 10-, 12-, 20- and 32-bit versions.
