Offering high isolation voltage while eliminating RFI emissions and the need for oscillators, transformers, rectifiers and filters, these power optocouplers are designed to provide a simple, low-noise means of effecting direct, isolated dc-to-dc conversions. The conversions are accomplished optically, and the devices can be used across a wide range of applications, such as powering isolation amplifiers, powering isolated CMOS logic, and boosting low supply voltages. These hybrid circuits come in dual-in-line configurations with 0.4-inch row spacing and SMT ceramic packages.
