EL Display Sets Sights On Instrumentation Apps

Using the firm's proprietary ICE (Integral Contrast Enhancement) technology that is said to provide outstanding contrast and image quality, EL 160.120.39 electroluminescent (EL) display offers a 160 x 120 pixels matrix with a 4-bit LCD type video interface. The display has built-in analog dimming and a wide voltage input range that is well-suited for battery-powered systems. Typical brightness is 70 cd/m2 and pixel pitch is 0.39 mm. Applications include portable medical equipment, intelligent machine interfaces, embedded systems, and vehicular information systems.
