High-Density Interconnects Fit Flat Panels

Dec. 1, 1999

Available in standard or custom configurations, a series of interconnects for flat panel display cables is made up of 50 ohms, ribbonized or cylindrically bundled 36 to 40 AWG micro-miniature coaxial cable and 100 ohm twin-ax containing as many as 70 signal lines or positions. Standard pitches are 0.025" and 0.5 mm. Custom configurations have selective ground patterns for added electrical design flexibility. Shielding fabrics offer 70 to 88 dB EMI attenuation at 30 MHz to 2 GHz.
