Computer Offers Sunlight Readable Display

An industrial Pentium-based, rack mounted computer with 15" color AM TFT LCD, ST-C471 computer is available in a sunlight readable version at 900 nits to let the system be used outdoors. Drive options include hard disk drivers, floppy disk drives and CD-ROM. Two front accessible drive bays can hold a 3-1/2- or 5-1/2-inch drive and the other, a 3-1/2-inch drive. Rugged 2.5-inch internal hard drives can hold up to 2GB. All drives are mounted to maximize protection against shock and vibration. System comes with expansion backplane with three PCI card slots and three ISA card slots. The PCI slots will accept PC/104 cards. Units can be configured with optional Ethernet LAN communications of 10BaseT or 10Base2. A carrying case is available for portable applications.
