All four members of the F-51168 family of 240 x 64 STN color and monochrome LCDs with CCT backlighting are interchangeable with each other, enabling OEMs to easily swap displays for different applications. By keeping the mounting holes in the same location relative to the viewing area, the displays can be interchanged without changing front panel plastics. The F-51168 members include a yellow/black STN transmissive LCD (DMF-5005NY-LY), blue/white STN and FSTN transmissive LCDs (DMF-50316NB-FW-5 and DMF-50316NF-FW-1, respectively), and a color RGB transmissive unit (F-51168NCU-FW-AA). Well-suited for use in commercial, industrial and scientific instruments and other products, the LCDs have outer dimensions of 180.0 x 59.6 x 14.0 mm, viewing area of 132 x 39 mm, and dot pitch of 0.53 x 0.53.
