A complete remote terminal interface between a simple system and a MIL-STD-1553 bus is provided with the BU-61703/5 Simple System RT (SSRT) MIL-STD-1553 terminals. The device integrates dual transceiver, protocol logic, and a FIFO memory in a 1" sq.

A complete remote terminal interface between a simple system and a MIL-STD-1553 bus is provided with the BU-61703/5 Simple System RT (SSRT) MIL-STD-1553 terminals. The device integrates dual transceiver, protocol logic, and a FIFO memory in a 1" sq. ceramic package. It provides multi-protocol support of MIL-STD-1553A/B, MIL-STD-1760, McAir, as well as STANAG-3838.
The device is suited for stores and other simple systems such as displays, A/D and D/A converters, actuators, power supply monitors, switch closures and other discrete I/O that do not require a microprocessor.
