Used in conjunction with the company's optimizing C/C++ compilers, the MULTI 2000 integrated development environment (IDE) automates all aspects of embedded software development for Hitachi SuperH and SuperH DSP processors. Featuring a window-oriented editor, source-level debugger, graphical program builder, and run-time error checker, the application also includes a version control system, instruction set simulator, performance profiler, real-time event analyzer, and a context-sensitive HTML help system. The event analyzer builds on the debuggers real-time capabilities, graphically displaying system and application events on an expandable timeline in real time. It also displays all context switches, ThreadX API calls, and interrupts in a time-relative manner using intuitive icons, Available in Windows- or Unix-compatible versions, pricing is $5,900 and $8,900, respectively.
