Hand-Held Terminal Sets Its Sights On Motion Control Apps

Designed with an eye on motion control, the ProMotion hand-held terminal boasts of both a double-pole, three-position switch plus a double-pole e-stop. The three-position design of the switch provides a closed circuit when depressed to a mid-point and the mushroom cap e-stop switch is activated with a push/turn motion. ProMotion also features a large screen LCD display with both text and graphics capabilities, contrast control and optional backlight.
Additional options include LED indicator capabilities and programmable display characters. Multiple keypad layouts and an optional backlit keypad are available with either standard or custom graphics.
The keypad surface is securely framed and clamped into place to ensure splash resistance and prevent curling or peeling of the keypad overlay. The hand-held device also has numerous case color options. OEM quantity one pricing of the ProMotion begins at $1,250.
