IR Thermometer Measures Surface Temps

May 1, 2001

Featuring a temperature range of 0°F to 850°F, the DHS110 Heat Spy series handheld, non-contact IR thermometers are housed in a compact case measuring only 6" x 2: x 1". The instrument incorporates an easy-to-read, 1.5" diagonal LCD screen displaying 3/8" digits.
A keypad-actuated backlight aids display visibility in low-light conditions. Two models, the DHS110 XL and DHS110 XEL, are both equipped with a bright laser aiming beam, that is on/off selectable. Both models are °F or °C selectable, respond in 500 ms, and measure through a range from seven to 18 micros. A built-in hold function retains display values for six seconds. The DHS110 XEL also includes menu selection of a settable hi/lo alarm, adjustable emissivity, and memory access to the last recording observed.
