Hi-Res TFT Display Panel Comes Ready To Plug-In And Play

With a thin-film transistor (TFT) LCD, video decoder,graphic engine, controller and inverter to drive the LCDÕs backlight all assembled in this panel, all that OEMs have to do to integrate the unit into a system is to encase it in a plastic housing, hook it up to a 12V power supply, and supply an input signal. Presently, two units incorporating All-in-One technology are available: 15" XGA (1,024 x 768-pixel) and 16" SXGA (1,280 x 1,024 -pixel) LCDs.Geared initially for use in PCs and industrial monitors, the All-in-One assemblies employ the companyÕs next-generation, ASV technology, a new LCD mode offering wider viewing angles, higher contrast displays, and faster response times. The new technology also eliminates, in most versions, bright pixel defects resulting from non-functional transistors. Non-ASV versions of the displays are also available.
