With dual- and quad-lamp designs, respectively, the SW44217 and SW44220 push-button momentary switches provide high lamp or LED redundancy and brightness. The pushbuttons are suitable for use as warning lights in avionics and industrial displays, audio controls, and other high-density panel applications. Both switches feature gold-plated contacts, a snap feel, and interchangeable lenses with clear top covers, black opaque sides, and red legend plates. The legend plates measure 0.125" in height with black fill. The SW44220 houses up to four, while the SW44217 accommodates up to two T-1, sub-midget flange-based lamps or LEDs. Both switches measure 0.75" square and need approximately 1.6" of space behind the panel. They mount into a standard 0.98" square cutout with a back-up bracket using a screw. Connection is via solder lug terminals with 20 AWG wire; PCB pin terminals or wire-harness connections are also available. Both pushbuttons have a minimum life span of 100,000 operations.
