A new character display module, designed with a 2 line by 40-character display, has shorter lead times, thus facilitating faster time to market. Characters measure 5.55 mm x 3.2 mm and are used in applications including point of sale terminals, test equipment and others. The module measures 182 mm wide x 33.5 mm high x 14.5 mm deep for the LED backlight version, with a maximum of 9.5 mm deep for the reflective version. It has a dot pitch of 0.65 mm wide x 0.70 mm high. The product comes with either TN or STN fluids, and can be designed with or without an LED backlight. Standard temperature range is 0°C to +50°C.
