Meeting the demands of space critical designs, the D355B comes in a leadless, lead-free 5 mm x 7 mm package that integrates all the external components required to backlight monochrome displays and keypads. Said to exhibit a high power-conversion efficiency, the module operates on supply voltages from 1V to 7V and also integrates the power inductor. It employs the company's patented three-port (3P) topology for reducing any audible mechanical and electrical noise. Additional features include internally controlled current discharge that provides EMI shielding. Samples of the D355 module are currently available from stock.
