Targeting flat panel matrix displays, the five-member X98000 family of analog front ends (AFEs) boasts of operating speeds of up to 275 Msamples/s, reportedly the fastest speed achieved by an AFE. The X98027 AFE has a top speed of 275 Msamples/s, with the four other members of the X98000 family operating at 240, 210, 170 and 140 Msamples/s. Each has three 8-bit channels to capture the red, green and blue (RGB) or YPbPr and are said to exhibit high linearity and matching for rendering grayscale. The X98027 supports QXGA resolution with a refresh rate of up to 60 Hz, X98024 supports WUXGA resolution, X98021 supports UXGA, X98017 supports WSXGA, and X98014 supports SXGA resolution, as well as all lower resolutions.
