These include telematics, navigation, speech recognition, passenger control and comfort, intelligent occupant sensors, heads-up displays, safety systems, engine control modules, and other under-the-hood powertrain management systems. The devices range in density from 3,000 to 1-million gates and operate in temperatures from –40°C to +150°C. Support is via a comprehensive portfolio of IP cores designed for in-cab and under-the-hood applications including LIN, CAN, SPI, 8051, Z80, 6809, Reed Solomon, and DES/3DES/AES.
