A new family of high-legibility monochrome LCDs comes in a variety of colors—white, blue, green, yellow and others. Graphic LCD family members include the 2.8" diagonal F-51852 series and the 5.2" diagonal F51851 series. The F-51852's feature 128 x 64 dot pixel resolution, a selectable 8-bit serial or parallel interface and a built-in controller. The F-51851's feature 240 x 64 dot pixel resolution, 8-bit parallel interface and built-in controller. Both come in white, blue, green or yellow. Character LCD family members include the 20 character x 4 line C-51847 series, the 16 x 2 C-51848 series, the 40 x 4 C-51849 series and the 40 x 2 C-51850 series. All are available with a white, blue or green display. Additional colors for the character modules are available upon request. All of the LCDs employ the company's high performance partial color technology, which incorporates a high-contrast negative mode panel that utilizes an internal black mask and color LED backlight to provide a uniform, high-contrast black background for easier viewing. All of the LCDs are also "green" products, built in complete compliance with the RoHS directive. Pricing for the F-51852 series starts at $19.07 in OEM quantities.
