The IRTouch touchscreens employ infrared (IrD) touch technology, using IrD light as the sensor, which promotes stable, maintenance-free and calibration-free operation. This approach eliminates films or conductive layers and yields a transparency in excess of 92% with 100% a possibility. The displays also incorporate unique optical and mechanical designs that allow them to perform in any type of ambient light conditions, indoors and out. Sealed to the IP65 standard, they operate over a temperature range from -41°C to +70°C. Other features include operation via any object?finger, gloved hand, or stylus?with no pressure required, a response-time range from 10 ms to 35 ms, and screen sizes from 6.4" to 100" diagonal. Custom sizes are also available. Single-unit prices for 12.1" and 15.1" touchscreens are $128 and $149, respectively. TOUCH INTERNATIONAL, Austin, TX. (877) 832-8292.
