The company, along with Automation Control Products (ACP), has developed the HMI Express family of thin client computers. Well-suited for harsh environments, the computers can be used for industrial applications such as automotive manufacturing, chemical processing, food and beverage processing, and machine control. Models come in both screen-less brick-sized mountable packages and industrial-panel types having 6.4", 8.4", 10.4", 12.1" and 15" LCD displays. The processor is a 300 MHz National Semiconductor Geode. Each computer comes standard with one RS-485 and two or three RS-232 serial ports. Pricing starts at $654 each. ARISTA CORP., Fremont, CA.
