Assuming position as the fastest logic analyzers available, the TLA7012 portable and TLA7016 benchtop mainframes employ Windows XP Professional and current Pentium processors. The TLA7012 contains one or two modules providing up to 272 channels, a 2-GHz Pentium M processor, and a 15" active TFT display. Short-cut keys on the front-panel provide access to commonly used menus and an optional touch screen allows access to all functionality. The TLA7016 supports up to six modules and employs either the user's PC or an optional 3-GHz Pentium 4 controller. Both employ next-generation, version 5.0 application software that includes drag-and-drop triggering and automated measurements, and an improved user interface.
