A new stylish enclosure has been designed for housing console type electronics. Typical applications include point-of-sale terminals, telecom equipment, test and measurement devices, medical and wellness equipment. The enclosure is molded in light gray or black ABS, and external dimensions measure 6.81" x 6.06" x 2.12" and 6.81" x 6.06" x 2.40". The top panel incorporates a recessed keypad area and a display section inclined at 45°. The case comes with or without keypad and display apertures. Two removable aluminum end panels are captured at the front and rear, and can be machined for fitting connectors, controls and switches. Two models have a battery compartment for a 9V cell. PCB mounting pillars and guides are included inside the cases, and assembly is by two self-tapping screws. Four non-slip rubber feet are also included. This product can be custom modified.
