An innovative approach, the VPC2864 series 3-phase vertical power distribution unit includes current metering on each phase to properly balance and load the system via a 2-digit current meter display. A 3-position switch selects which phase is being monitored, helping the installer to properly balance the phase current. The current meter allows full use of the electric outlet capacity by measuring the actual current draw. The distribution unit's power input supports 48A of continuous power at 120V single phase. There are 30 receptacles available that can be configured with either 15A three-prong receptacles (NEMA 5-15R) or 20A T blade receptacles (NEMA 5-20R). The unit measures 70" tall and 2" deep with the outlets spaced over the entire length. List price starts at $595 each. PULIZZI ENGINEERING INC., Santa Ana, CA. (800) 870-2248.
