Supporting all high-definition video (HDV) transport sources, the HDAnywhere networked entertainment reference design distributes HD video content over all popular wireless and wired transmission transports, including ultra wideband, 802.11n, coaxial, phone line, and powerline protocols. It enables connections to wall-mount displays, ceiling mount projectors, and remote televisions without any wires. The platform relies on the company's Wavescale compression, the same JPEG2000 technology found in digital cinema and broadcast television systems. Wavescale allows the HDAnywhere system to compress video in real time, encrypt the stream, and deliver it to a UWB, WiFi, powerline, phone-line, or COAX modem without visual interruptions. The receiver decrypts and decompresses the stream and produces an HDMI output. ANALOG DEVICES, INC., Norwood, MA. (800) 426-2564.
