Meeting all requirements for field use, the all-purpose FSH4 and FSH8 handheld spectrum analyzers cover a frequency range from 9 kHz to 3.6 GHz or 8 GHz. Depending on options installed, they can perform as two-port vector network analyzers, cable and antenna testers, or as power meters. Essentially, they support almost all RF measurement tasks encountered in service, installation, and maintenance applications. The instruments weigh 3 kg including the battery, which provides up to 4.5 hours of operation. Other features include a high-contrast VGA color display, average noise level of –163 dBm (1 Hz) at 2 GHz, a preamplifier capable of measuring very small signals reliably, and a third-order intercept of 15 dBm in the common mobile radio bands.
