Capable of withstanding harsh environments, the Vigor EX portable workstation employs a dual-chassis design with shock-mounted internal chassis suspended in a mil-anodized external chassis with no metal-to-metal contact. It supports single or dual Xeon processors or a single Core i7 processor and up to 48 GB of ECC or 24 GB of non-ECC DDR3 memory. Other features include over 7 TB of internal storage with more than 1.2-GB/s sustained RAID write performance, up to seven PCI Express and PCI expansion slots, support for multiple graphics cards, and a 17” HD display with optional second and third fold-out displays.
