Four additions to Sharp’s large format LED-backlit LCD product line include two 10.4” panels, one 12.1” panel reissue, and one 15” panel. The LCDs suit industrial apps including factory automation, gaming, medical devices, POS terminals, etc. The 10.4” VGA landscape LED-backlit LCDs include one with an LVDS interface (-LG81) and one with a digital interface (-DG81). Both feature 450 nits of brightness and an 800:1 contrast ratio. A built-in LED driver eases the design process, and both panels spec an operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C. The 12.1” SVGA LCD features a 50,000-hour backlight life, wide operating temperature range and viewing angles, and 450 nits of brightness with an 800:1 contrast ratio. It is a re-issue of Sharp’s previous 12.1” LQ121S1LG81. The 15” XGA LCD features 350 nits of brightness and a contrast ratio of 800:1 with wide viewing angles: 110° vertical and 160° horizontal. Operating temperature ranges from -20°C to +70°C. Unit prices for the LQ104V1LG81, LQ104V1DG81, LQ121S1LG84, and LQ150X1LG91 are $325, $325, $350, and $375, respectively.
