Equipped with the single-chip quad-core E3800 Intel Atom processor family, congatec’s low-power conga-MA3 COM Express mini module suits enclosed x86-based applications. Power consumption ranges from 10 W down to 5 W. Features include DDR3L memory up to 8 Gbytes with 1333 Mtransfers/s, Intel HD Graphics Gen7, and support for MPEG2, H.264, DirectX11, OCL 1.2, OGL 3.2, WMV9, and VC1. It also incorporates a digital high-definition audio interface. Along with an Intel I210 Gigabit Ethernet controller, I/O includes four PCIe x1 lanes (5 Gbits/s), two SATA 2.0 (3 Gbits/s), seven USB 2.0, one USB 3.0, LPC and I2C buses, and SPI.  In addition, the system-on-a-chip integrates display auto detection, backlight control, flash update,, AMI Aptio UEFI, and AES-NI for AES data encryption. The ACPI 5.0-compliant module’s operating temperature ranges from ‒40 to +85°C. It supports various operating systems, such as Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Embedded Standard and Embedded Compact 7, as well as Linux.
