High-temperature semiconductor specialist Cissoid has partnered with extreme-environment module maker MS Kennedy to develop high-reliability and high-temperature electronic modules.

The companies will work to package multiple ICs into new, integrated compact standard multichip-module (MCM) products. The aim is to push high-temperature multichip-module functionality beyond 232°C.

Products introduced jointly will address new, high-temperature applications in the oil and gas, aerospace, industrial, and automotive markets. The first jointly developed standard product will be based on Cissoid’s HADES V2 high-reliability, high-voltage isolated gate driver solution. The companies also are working on custom modules.
