Linear Technology’s LT6703 is a micropower comparator with an integrated 400-mV voltage reference. The device requires 6.5 ìA of quiescent current, less than 10 nA of input-bias current and operates from a supply voltage of 1.4 V to 18 V. Total threshold error is 1.25%.

The input can accept voltages from 0 V to 18 V, independent of the supply voltage, and the open-collector output can be pulled up to 18 V, also independent of supply. Furthermore, the LT6703 has built-in comparator hysteresis and guaranteed specifications from -40°C to 125°C. Two versions provide the choice of input polarity: the LT6703-2 has the 400-mV reference connected to the non-inverting input and the LT6703-3 has the 400-mV reference connected to the inverting input. Both versions are in full production, with prices starting at $0.75 each in 1000-piece quantities.
